Chapter 1: Meeting the CEO
As the elevator doors opened, I straightened my posture and adjusted the files in my arms. I was about to meet the CEO of the company I had been hired to work for, and I needed to make a good impression.
I stepped out of the elevator and into the sleek, modern office of the CEO. The receptionist directed me to a conference room where the CEO was waiting for me.
I walked in and greeted the CEO with a firm handshake. She was a formidable woman, with sharp features and a no-nonsense attitude. I could tell she was someone who didn't take any nonsense from anyone.
She motioned for me to take a seat, and we began discussing the project I had been hired to work on. As we talked, I could see the fire in her eyes and the passion she had for her work.
I knew then that I had made the right decision in coming to work for this company. I was ready to do whatever it took to help this fierce, powerful woman achieve her goals.
